Asymmetric Michael addition of α-fluoro-α-nitro esters to nitroolefins: towards synthesis of α-fluoro-α-substituted amino acids.
α-Fluoro-α-nitro esters were used as reaction partners in Michael addition to nitroalkenes, and the products were obtained in excellent chemical yields and with high enantioselectivities. Moreover, α-fluoro-α-amino ester with a quaternary α-carbon was prepared for the first time.
متن کاملSolid-Phase Synthesis Utilizing Azido-α-Amino Acids: Reduction of Azido-Protected Proline
Introduction During an evaluation of azido-α-amino acids and their utility in solid-phase peptide chemistry, the octapeptide angiotensin II and a tripeptide thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) analog have been prepared using Meldal’s procedure [1]. A necessary novel step was the reduction of the azido moiety of L-proline, a secondary amine constrained by a ring, to the corresponding free amine ...
متن کاملEfficient synthesis of β’-amino-α,β-unsaturated ketones
A general and simple procedure to access chiral β'-amino-α,β-enones, in seven steps, from an α,β unsaturated ester has been described. The use of a Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons reaction as a key step for generating the β'-amino-α,β-enones, permits access to a range of substrates under mild conditions and in moderate to high yield.
متن کاملPerformance of 2-Amino Tetraphenyl Porphyrin as Stationary Phase in RP-HPLC of Amino Acids
The search for new stationary phases has been one of the predominant concerns in high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) in order to achieve better resolutions, longer column lives, and reduce the time of analysis. A chromatographic packing for separation of underivatized amino acids (AAs) were prepared by dynamically coating 2-amino tetraphenyl prophyrin (atpp) on a C-18 reversed-pha...
متن کاملSynthesis and characterization of dibutyltin compounds with α-amino acids
This study describes the preparation and description of four new complexes: Bu2Sn(AA)Cl (AA = glycine, DL = valine and L = leucine) and Bu2SnPhen2 (Phen = DL-phenylalanine). They were characterized by elemental analyses for carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, chlorine and tin by infrared, 119mSn-Mössbauer and 119mSnRMN spectroscopies and by the applications of TG and DSC techniques in a dynamic helium ...
